I have 26 years expertise in the Counseling/Therapy field,                      
including 17 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My                     
specialties are Depression, Anxiety, Relationship issues,GLBT
and Life Transitions. As a National Board Certified Diplomate
in Clinical Hypnotherapy, I utilize Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
as an adjunct to therapy. I also offer Marriage/Relationship
Counseling,for partners who want to make their relationship
a happier one, as well as Family Counseling.
My work during my internships included working as a peer
Counselor/Trainer with Kara, and agency specializing
in services for people coping with grief and the terminally ill.
I also served as Clinical Director for Mateo Lodge Inc. in
Redwood City, Ca. treating clients coping with severe
mental illness, including Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar Disorder.
Subsequent to my licensing in 1994, I held positions as  
Clinical Director with other agencies both in California, and
New Jersey.

Since 2002, I have been affiliated with Shields for Families in
Los Angeles, working with adults as a Therapist and a Clinical
Supervisor for intern therapists.

I have a private practice in Irvine, CA.,(Irvine Counseling and
Hypnosis) where I am privileged to assist individuals, couples,
and families in finding more joy in their lives.
