I have 25 years expertise in the Mental Health field, including
16 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My specialties
include Depression, Anxiety, Relationship issues, Life                                                  
Transitions including Early Adulthood, Mid-Life Crisis
issues, and utilizing hypnosis as an adjunct to therapy. In
addition, I also specialize in working with marital and  
pre-marital couples who want to make their relationship a                                            
happier one.
                             
My work prior to licensure included a position as peer
Counselor/Trainer with Kara, and agency specializing
in services for people coping with grief and the terminally ill.
I also served as Clinical Director for Mateo Lodge Inc. in
Redwood City, Ca. treating clients coping with severe
mental illness, including Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar Disorder.
Subsequent to my licensing in 1994, I held positions as  
Clinical Director with other agencies in California, and New                                          
Jersey.

I am currently affiliated with Shields for Families in Los
Angeles, working with adults as a Primary Therapist
and Clinical Supervisor for intern therapists.

I have a private practice in Irvine, CA. where I am
privileged to assist individuals, couples, and families
in finding more joy in their lives.
