Hypnotherapy
The Myths:

It’s just a game on stage to make you do things you
don’t want to do.
It’s mind control.
It’s dangerous because you never know what’s going to
happen.

The Truth:

None of the above statements about Hypnotherapy are
true. Hypnosis is defined as a state of relaxation, where
you are always awake, and always in control. I use
Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy as an adjunct to psychotherapy,
and for the following:            
                       
                          Anxiety and Depression
                        Chronic Pain/Fibromyalgia,
                            Smoking Cessation,
                             Stress Reduction,
                           Weight Management,
                            Compulsive Habits,
                              Test preparation,
                        Confidence, Self-esteem,
                                     PTSD,
                            Sexual Dysfunction,
                            Sports Performance,
                                    Insomnia.
        
           Stomach and gastrointestinal issues including Irritable Bowel
Syndrome(IBS) have also responded very well to Hypnotherapy,
and even sometimes, when medication was only partially helpful.

Many couples try to "work it out" by themselves. All too
often the situation becomes worse, and therapy becomes
"a last resort." Therapy can be utilized as a preventative
step to stop the problems early, so that the relationship
can be healthy once again. The important thing is
knowing what doesn’t work, and putting your
